About this varietyPeaberry coffee comes from coffee cherries that produce one round seed instead of the usual 2 flat-sided seeds. As a result all the “goodness” that would normally go into the 2 seeds gets concentrated into the one. Peaberries tend to produce a more aromatic cup, with a richer body and a zesty almost wine-like acidity. Whenever I'm enjoying a cup of Tanzanian Peaberry (which should be more often, now that I think about it), I usually find a bottle of good Rhone Valley wine coming to mind.
