About this variety

Our Sumatran Gayoland beans are an organic, fair trade product from the Gayo region of Sumatra. Considering the number of critically endangered species that call Sumatra home, it is extra important to promote production methods that have minimal impact on the environment, which is the case with our gourmet Sumatran beans.

In addition to being environmentally friendly, our Sumatran Gayoland conjures up a cup with rich body, superb earthy flavor, and hints of chocolate. It is also naturally very low in acid making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive stomachs.

These beans are darker roasted to enhance its rich body and chocolaty overtones.
