About this variety

Our Mexican Chiapas beans are from (no surprise) the Chiapas state along the southern border with Guatemala. As a result, these organic, fair trade beans are similar in character to their cousins further south.

They produce a mild, medium bodied cup with an almond-like nuttiness, as well as a touch of fruitiness. It has a naturally reduced degree of acid which makes it a good choice for those with sensitive stomachs. It's an ideal breakfast coffee and goes great with Huevos Rancheros.

Our Mexican Chiapas is medium roasted to show off all the flavor and character it has to offer.
